Welcome to Moon☾Shine! Our 1955 Boles Ensanda Trailer has been lovingly restored and updated. Located on a beautiful spot of Kern River, just south of the famous Big Daddy Rapids and just below the tranquil Beaver Pond. Private waterfront with your own river access, lounge patios, propane BBQ, wood fire pit, cedar hot tub, outdoor shower, speedy WiFi, and the coolest vintage vibe. Includes full interior bathroom with shower, air-conditioning/heating, refrigerator/freezer, stovetop, and all kitchen tools. All you need for endless relaxing fun!

River Access is right in the backyard! There’s a fence with a lockable gate between the backyard and riverside terrace. The riverside terrace has a handrail only. Access is a natural boulder entry with handrail to the water’s edge. Guests must be sure-footed to access the water. River levels are seasonal and can change due to weather events. Policies

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Guest receives 100% if cancellation occurs at least 5 days before arrival. Guest receives 50% if cancellation occurs at least 1 day before arrival. No refunds within 1 day of arrival.

PETS:
One well-behaved and housetrained dog is permitted with pre-approval. Please tell us about your pup (breed, size, etc). There is a $40 pet fee per stay. We allow up to 1 dog maximum. It’s a small space! We don’t allow other animals without prior approval.

RENTAL AGREEMENT:
An agreement will be emailed to you and must be signed within 48 hours of booking to finalize the reservation.

EXTRA GUESTS:
We allow up to 2 adults and 1 child under 12 only. It’s a small space! Only registered guests are allowed on the property without prior approval.

EVENTS:
We do not allow weddings, events, photoshoots or parties without prior approval. Please email us at hello@thekernriverhouse.com with details prior to booking.

FIRES:
No outdoor fireworks are allowed. Our outdoor propane BBQ and outdoor firepit are allowed.

ADDITIONAL:
We have a camera pointed on the front gate to ensure only the registered guests are on the property. We don’t record audio.

Our trailer is in a quiet riverfront residential neighborhood with houses on both sides. Please be mindful of noise after dark.
